A neglected “mill home” in downtown Bend was relocated and restored to make way for this riverfront northwest nordic design. Both traditional and modern forms combine well to create a clean, compact home for two along the Deschutes river. The transparent rear, riverside, facade connects the dwelling to multipurpose outdoor living/dining areas and the terraced yard that steps down to the river’s edge.
